DRUM WORKSHOPS

Step into the rhythms of Afro-Brazilian percussion — no experience necessary. Our pop-up workshops bring the energy of Carnaval and samba reggae into a welcoming, hands-on studio setting, where beginners and experienced players alike learn side by side.

Sessions run 1–2 hours, taught in the tradition of Brazilian community music — where rhythm isn't performed for an audience so much as shared with everyone in the room. A limited number of drums are provided; if you have your own, please bring it.

  • No. Workshops are open to complete beginners as well as experienced dancers and drummers — the material is taught step by step, so everyone in the room can follow along at their own level.

  • A limited number of drums are provided, but if you have your own, please bring it — availability isn't guaranteed for every session.

  • Comfortable clothing you can move freely in. No special footwear is required.

  • Yes — workshops are open to both, and mixed-age groups are part of the experience.
